A Milestone

I've posted this on Myspace in my blog and it's got put on Livejournal as well. For some of those who are reading this off myspace, well...Livejournal was basically where blogs were born. It's just took a long time for everyone else to rape the idea.

Now I know I hardly post on Livejournal anymore and yes, I'm probably one of the worst house guests ever there but I thought I'd pop in and mention something.

This year is somewhat of a milestone for me. Not for the fact that I've been using livejournal possibly (on and off) for 10 years now, oh no. Not for the fact that I'm still alive at 22.

No, you know why I'm making this post?

It's a milestone because I recently bought a game that I had ten years ago. Something called Pokemon Diamond. And it got me thinking, is time repeating it's self?

Then I got thinking of a place I went to ten years ago on the web called the Pokemon Fan-Fiction Archives (PFFA). To many it was a place where loads of illiterate (did I even spell that right?) and bad pokemon fiction was created with the final product of it all with the two main characters stating they loved one another. At the age of 12 or 13, you kinda found that cool and romantic in a new age kinda way.

The only reason I write all of this is to find out what happened to all the people that resided there. The place was not visited for it's fiction after all; it was it's people. The Khisanth's, the Zero's, the Misty-Blues, the Mystic Vaporeons, the Diana's, the Ash-Satoshis, the Kaura's, the Moogleborgs and so many more...all names I seem to remember but now, I'm not sure where they ended up. I changed my name a lot back then from Diablso to Raziel then Neo Raziel...god the name changes goes on but I have a lot of fond memories. The whole forum for the PFFA was dutifully named the "Asylum" and boy, they were some nutbars but I think that was the reason it ended up being quite fun to go and talk to them.

So if anyone who used to hang out there, please tell me what happened to you. Send me a message (infectedflinch @ hotmail.com). Let me know!

And if you managed to read on this long, I salute you.

Later.
Dave Price (aka a host of old internet names) - (www.myspace.com/twistedlimits)

Remember me? No? Oh...

...in any case, I'm Dave. And I don't use this anymore.

But this is quite a paradox because right now, I'm using this, you're either reading this or not or contemplating on whether or not use the back or scroll button to something which is more enticing.

And what happened to my grammar? Hmm, more ponderous questions.

In any case, if you want to find me now, I'm usually hiding about on myspace. Yeah, I sold my soul somewhere else.

You can find me here:

Well, goodbye livejournal. I update like a man wanting repeated enemas (in other words, not many times).

Anywho, I am going to ask to everyone who knows me with this livejournal who is female. I need a female voice for a macromedia flash thing I'm making - and since most of the people I know in the 'real' world don't want to do it. So really, I'm not gonna ask, I'm just gonna beg...

...will someone do me the pleasure of some voices for a series I call Garters? Please?

And Farscape the Peacekeeper wars starts soon. Oh yes, fantorgasmic is the word to describe it's return.

Ok, I'll update again some other time. <lj:music>Thomas Newman - Any Other Name</lj:music>

Yes, I'm back - and I'm back in a whole big way! Some won't remember me, some *may* have just met me and others won't have a clue who the hell I am. But frankly, I don't care, you've either stumbled upon me or I've come to remind you that one, I'm not dead and two, how do you do.

Now where have I been you may ask? I've been busy. True, many of you (or maybe just one or two...yeah one or two) will have wondered what I have been busy with. Now I can just be cryptic and leave the answer at myself being busy and have this measley little post over and done with...but I don't think really that's going to cut it. Not for me and hopefully not for you.

I've been places, I've done things, I've seen things, I've changed. I think you should know about it. I think you should know all the things I know. Welcome to the twisted corner of my little existence.

First things first, I'm in University. I've finally got to that place of higher education I have so desperately been seeking for over the past four years. Trust me, it's plagued my mind since the dawn of time and it's like the weight of the world off my shoulders just being able to walk in there.

The second thing you ask? I'm the creator of a webcomic called "Flinch and Friends". ((Http://flinch.keenspace.com)) It's not really all that popular but it makes my life all that plainer and it's a story I can write with crappy drawings. I like doing it. I don't know if anyone else likes it though.

Third, I saw the passing away of my great grandmother. She passed away at the age of 95. She kept on fighting for 2 weeks - never giving up. That, in it's self, makes me proud to be called her grandson.

Other than that update, I have nothing much else left to say. Take care of yourselves til I grace this livejournal possibly in the next 7 months. I never update it...I should really.

- Dave

Level 8- the Malebolge

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Many and varied sinners suffer eternally in the multi-leveled Malebolge, an ampitheatre-shapped pit of despair Wholly of stone and of an iron colour: Those guilty of fraudulence and malice; the seducers and pimps, who are whipped by horned demons; the hypocrites, who struggle to walk in lead-lined cloaks; the barraters, who are ducked in boiling pitch by demons known as the Malebranche. The simonists, wedged into stone holes, and whose feet are licked by flames, kick and writhe desperately. The magicians, diviners, fortune tellers, and panderers are all here, as are the thieves. Some wallow in human excrement. Serpents writhe and wrap around men, sometimes fusing into each other. Bodies are torn apart. When you arrive, you will want to put your hands over your ears because of the lamentations of the sinners here, who are afflicted with scabs like leprosy, and lay sick on the ground, furiously scratching their skin off with their nails. Indeed, justice divine doth smite them with its hammer.

Level Who are sent there?
I haven't posted for so long in here but I thought I would do just for the hell of it to see if anyone sees if they remember me at all. But anyway! How do everyone.

So what's happened...er...yeah, I'm learning to play the guitar. Made my first song by the name of "A Song Called She". Putting words to it soon.
